The American gun debate is contentious, emotional, multidimensional, and it’s not likely to subside soon. This discussion will focus on some of the legal, political, cultural, and psychological issues associated with guns in America. Is there some middle ground that will allow us to make progress on the real goal, which is to reduce or eradicate gun violence? I will make some suggestions.
Bill is a Boulder native who strayed away for ten years before finding his way home. After a career teaching mathematics, in part at CU-Denver for 23 years, he continues to write textbooks, play in the mountains, and do volunteer work in Boulder.
