Summer Fun

It's been a cool wet Spring, but our gardens loved it and our new Kentucky Bluegrass feels right at home. Now that summer is here, we are ready to party hardy, so plan to join us for the following events.

Steve Smith is planning to take some time off this summer to recharge his intellectual batteries, so plan to attend his lunch on Monday to "reclaim your attention.” Steve plans to do one more lunch on the 24th before he closes shop for July and part of August.

Mike Johnson is the Democratic front runner in what is considered the most competitive Senate race in 2020. City Club is proud to host Mike for a meet and greet so we can have a chance to get a feel for who he is, what he stands for, and hopefully help him get elected.

We have a great party planned for Friday night and encourage you all to attend to celebrate the official arrival of the summer, the completion of our garden project, and the dedication of our Masonic Temple, built from the reclaimed stones of the original Masonic Temple built in 1891, burned in 1942, and resurrected at Highland in 2019.
