Last month, we had the good fortune to invite Maris Herold, Boulder’s new Police Chief, for an intimate lunch conversation with the purpose of meeting her and giving her an opportunity to visit with a diverse cross section of Boulder citizens.

At the end of our lunch, we concluded Boulder is fortunate to have a new female Police Chief who transitioned from social work to law enforcement over 27 years ago and understands the connection between the two.
