Susan Graf

Susan Graf was drawn from Chicago to Boulder by CU’s MBA program, fell in love with blue sky in the winter and has been here ever since. After graduation, she led operations for a number of local companies including Leanin’ Tree greeting cards for fifteen years. Her desire to serve the community led her to serve on many non-profit boards and, after chairing the Boulder Chamber of Commerce (BCC) board, they convinced her to take the helm. She led BCC for eight years; which included oversight of the Boulder Economic Council, Small Business Development Center and the Convention and Visitors Bureau. Her love of Boulder is contagious and she can still be found on Pearl Street helping out-of-towners with directions.

After her stint at the Chamber, she returned to the private sector, helping the founder grow Bhakti Chai. In her role of VP of Finance and Administration at Bhakti, she discovered a mission-focused Bank - New Resource Bank. When they made a decision to open a Colorado office, she offered to make introductions in that ‘pay-it-forward’ spirit we have here in Boulder. They ended up hiring her to serve as the regional development manager here. In her ‘spare’ time, she serves on the boards of Boulder Community Health, Naturally Boulder, the Colorado Enterprise Fund and as an advisor to the B Local Colorado chapter of B Corporation.

She resides in South Boulder with her husband, Paul, and can be seen on Saturdays road biking with girlfriends or hiking the Mesa Trail.
