David Spiro

David Spiro has been a member of the City Club for more than 10 years and claims his membership is a major factor in making him grow into the person he is today.

David started the City Club movie series, including the Dinner and a Movie special events, showing a movie followed by a wonderful meal that tied in with the theme of the movie. He was also responsible for locating the first piano City Club bought and owns to this date, to encourage community music and singing.

Most importantly, it was through the community spirit, and the classes he took at City Club, that David started his effective and successful mentoring practice, where he has mentored more than 100 young men who needed some extra help to get launched. David always finds something extraordinary in every one of his mentees and claims he could not have provided this community service without the generosity and support of City Club.

David looks forward to experiencing his growth, and City Club’s, in the next 10 years, and beyond.
